Signs of our TIME
Question: "I keep looking at the clock, always at the 11 th minute - 7:11, 9:11. Something always draws me to this certain time. What does this mean? Is someone or something trying to tell me something? How can I figure this out?"
Psychic Advice : Our guides are always trying to communicate with us, and their communication is often in the form of symbols. These symbols can express themselves through numbers we see repeating, through songs we keep hearing on the radio, or even songs we wake up hearing in our own head. Messages can come to us through billboards we see on the highway, or bumper stickers, or through any means that our guides can get our attention.
You see, humans are currently a frustrating bunch for our spirit guides to work with. Our western society does not teach us to communicate with the unseen realms, in fact, quite the opposite. Most people are trained to believe that the unseen realms do not exist, and because our beliefs determine our reality, those unseen realms remain unseen.
However, believing that the Earth was flat did not make it so, it only meant that people were too afraid to explore beyond the bounds of what they could see on the immediate horizon. As intrepid explorers ventured further and further toward the "ends of the Earth", the horizon line kept moving forward with them, so that the world of opportunity opened up to them the more they were willing and courageous enough to explore it, and go beyond accepted boundaries and limitations. Many of us now live in this new world thanks to those who were willing to transcend their fears and discover new worlds.
We now face new frontiers of discovery, and are being asked to go beyond the boundaries and flatness of our present accepted reality, to explore new worlds of spiritual existence and limitless possibilities. The irony is that for all of our scientific "progress", humanity has spiritually regressed. Most ancient cultures always had a direct connection to spirit, and held this world and worlds beyond this one in sacred reverence. In our modern "enlightened wisdom" or arrogance, we have come to view this type of spiritual connection from a perspective of superstition, and in so doing, we have negated other dimensions of existence to the point where our world is once again flat, two dimensional, limited only to what we can physically see and experience. But there is much more to our reality than this.
We each have spirit guides whose purpose is to assist us in the evolution of our soul. Our guides help us navigate our life experiences so that we get the most out of this lifetime in order to better ourselves and, ultimately, all of humanity, because we are all connected. Our guides will use any means available to communicate with us, but many of us have been taught to ignore these signals. Every one of us has intuition available to us as our direct line of communication with spirit and with the higher realms, but most people do not listen to the "little voice" or gut feelings within them. This means that our guides have to find more elaborate ways to get our attention.
In our present society, we are ruled by time, so most of us pay a great deal of attention to the clock. Digital clocks provide a different dimension of time than the analog variety where time ticks away, moving ahead second by second, minute by minute in a circular, cyclical fashion. Digital clocks change and transform time moment to moment, with an ever-changing face and image.
The number 11 on the clock has only gained significance now that we have entered the digital age. Eleven is a master number, a psychic and spiritual number of mysticism and inspiration. Eleven marks a gateway through two pillars: 1 and 1, which add up to 2, the number of duality and partnership. You are being asked to step through the gateway, to transcend duality and enter into partnership with the divine, with spirit, and with all that you are. This is true now for all of us.
The name of the convenience store "7/11" came at a time before life was lived in twenty-four hour days, as it is now where many people burn the candle at both ends, and burn themselves out in the process. Since 2001, we have all become more aware of the number 9/11; 9-1-1 is not only the number for emergency, but it has become the number for our global emergence into a new era. It is up to each of us to step forward through the gateway of the pillars of our society and determine what reality this era will entail.
This is not just about the 11 th minute, but we have reached the 11 th hour - the time to end time. This does not mean that these are the "end of days", but simply that it is the end of time as we know it. We have been enslaved to live by the clock, an artificial rhythm of life imposed on us that distracts us from following our own rhythm, and from listening to spirit and letting it guide us to our own truth moment by moment. From early childhood, we are taught to disregard our own inner knowing, and are indoctrinated by time to eat when we are not hungry, to go to bed simply because "it is time". We have time for work, time for chores, but little time for ourselves or for each other. We are now in the process of transcending time, and moving into a higher dimension of truth. Eleven marks the gateway, now all you have to do is step through it.
These days, many people often see the number 11:11 - this is the master number 22, the number of the creator, which is the ultimate gateway to the divine. Whenever you see 11 on the clock, take a moment to close your eyes, breathe, and imagine yourself stepping through those pillars to enter the temple of your own truth. Affirm that you are now living in partnership with the divine, and are open to receiving and following divine guidance. Then ask to be shown whatever it is you need to know. Be patient, it may come in that moment as a quick flash of something you see or hear, and if it does, trust that completely - don't struggle to understand it or chase after it, but let it wash over you, and let your understanding of it unfold and develop within you as you simply accept it with gratitude. If the message does not come right away, thank your guides for giving you the message that you need, avowing that you will stay open to receive their communication - then pay attention to everything that you see, hear and feel. You can ask for three clear signs to guide you that are gentle and easy to follow, then trust the messages that come to you, for when they come in threes, you can no longer deny them.
We are all being invited to step through the gateway beyond the self-imposed limitations of our beliefs into a glorious realm of infinite divine possibilities. Have the courage to explore beyond the accepted boundaries and man-made horizons. The sky is the limit, and all you have to do is step forward and trust, letting the signposts guide you on your journey.
