"LEADING INTO THE FUTURE"

Question: What does it mean if you have an absence of dreams for the future? Not a wish for life to end, but an absence of ... a plateau or a crossroads perhaps?"

Psychic Advice:
We all stand at a crossroads right now where the future is unwritten. We are poised in the middle of a great paradigm shift where the old is dying away to make way for the new. So many people are in a letting go phase, letting go of all that no longer serves us.

As we go through this transformation, it is often best to cocoon ourselves, allowing ourselves the opportunity to remain in a chrysalis state while we go through a metamorphosis. A butterfly is a completely different genetic creature from a caterpillar - it is a total transformation into a new way of being.

Many humans are now undergoing dramatic changes and shifts in DNA - we are in a profound transformation process to become lighter in order to transcend the density of this world. We are literally learning to rise above our present Earth reality as the Earth is also undergoing a radical transformation.

Right now, we are being encouraged, even forced, to face and address issues of the past that are wanting to come out of the darkness and into the light so they may be transformed. We must lighten our burden so we can fly by letting go of the things that anchor us to an outmoded reality.

Reality is simply a matter of perspective - what you see and experience is affected and determined by your viewpoint. History is written from a particular point of view, so it cannot accurately reflect all that has occurred or transpired. It is time now for us to rewrite our own personal histories so that the story we tell about ourselves is the story of who we really choose to be in the moment and for the future.

This is a time of reflection, of recognition, and of realization. It is a time of the great awakening, where we realize that we have no valid reason to believe what we have believed about ourselves any longer. Our limiting and critical beliefs are not the truth, and no longer apply to us or to the reality that we choose to create.

Many people are undergoing an "identity crisis" in which they are becoming aware that they are not the person they thought they were. The old labels no longer seem to fit, and neither do certain jobs, values, belief systems or lifestyles. We are overhauling everything we have ever believed about ourselves and our world, and it is exhausting.

It is vitally important for these illusions to fall away. We must see that our parents and our leaders are not gods who determine who we are and what is possible for us. The future is in our hands, and we each hold the power of choice and infinite possibility. However, it is not wise to choose your future until you are clear and certain about what you want to create, and you will not truly know what you want to create and experience until you know who you are.

This is the process that is unfolding right now, and for the next few months. The old dreams, goals, values and beliefs no longer seem to apply. It just doesn't feel right to do things the old way anymore. We have outgrown the old paradigm, and it no longer fits - it has become tight and restrictive. We cannot continue to walk around in our old, worn-out shoes; we must step into new shoes that fit our new path.

We must now find the truth for ourselves, and choose the highest possible path that will lead us to joy and to fulfillment. These choices hold the highest vibrations, and will serve to raise us up to where we truly belong, so we may see ourselves in the divine light of love.

We are in the tunnel of rebirth, and it can be difficult to see the light at the end, or what is unfolding before us. For now, it is not so important to make plans or have dreams for the future. What is important is to make peace with the past, and to become fully present, allowing transformation to occur. These changes can sometimes be uncomfortable, even painful, but the more you relax into them, the more easily these transformations can take place.

As we climb the stairway of life, we reach various plateaus and landings that allow us to catch our breath and assimilate what we have learned and experienced. These plateaus allow us time to reflect on the past and the present, before we continue our ascension to higher realms of consciousness and experience.

We are indeed in an ascension process, and people will choose to move onward and upward in various ways. It may feel like a part of you is dying, or wants to die, because that part is connected to the old way of being. Let it go.

Allow yourself to transform from being the caterpillar that struggles over the slightest obstacle as it crawls along the ground. Let yourself unfurl your wings so you can fly freely, rising above mundane existence to behold a whole new perspective of the world around you. From there, you will be able to see the future that you choose clearly, and you will be able to arrive at it effortlessly at will.

For now, you are neither the person you have been, nor the person you are becoming. You are on the bridge between worlds, so just allow yourself to focus on the present, and take one step at a time toward your future.

Having an absence of dreams for the future simply means that you cannot base the future on your past awareness and experience, and you must allow yourself to expand your vision and perspective to allow for a future that is more glorious than you can yet imagine. Remember, the caterpillar cannot possibly fathom how beautiful it is to be a butterfly, until it undergoes the transformation that allows a completely different set of future possibilities to effortlessly unfold.
